King Abdullah's Tomb

Lieutenant Edward Ware flees through the streets of Petra pursued by an unseen saboteur. He takes refuge in a rose red temple built in Roman times in the Syrian Desert. "Lawrence," he thinks, “"where are you?" The infamous Lawrence of Arabia, and his band of Bedouins are his only chance to escape this trap alive. Someone shoots at him. He races into another ruined structure. He trips and plunges into a tomb where King Abdullah has lain for over one thousand years.

Why does the saboteur want Edward dead? Edward had better figure it out fast before he meets King Abdullah's fate.
